What does 'feeling good' mean to you?

FEELING GOOD ‘When do you feel good? When are you feeling at your best?’ When was the last time you thought about it?

I think most of us don't, because we are all 'goal orientated people', caught up in placing ‘good feelings’ into the future. When I have this or achieve that, weigh this much, or lift that much, I will feel good... And I've spoken about that before, and I feel very strongly about the journey and not the end destination. But I realized that 'feeling gooooood' for me, only happens when I am entirely locked into the present moment.

That’s why I love to walk/run, may it be beach/mountain/forest, drinking coffee and having meaningful conversations with a someone special, or just swim in the ocean - all of these things command and demand my full attention. They are engaging mentally, physically and emotionally.

The reason that I am bringing this up is because so much of what I post is based on how to move well or what and how to eat, but I think that there needs to be a louder conversation about emotional health (I know everyone calls it mental health - but I think there is another sub-category called; Emotional Health that involves - emotional intelligence and self-awareness). Because ultimately, our emotional state heavily affects our drive and motivation to do things in life; be it exercise or just functioning efficiently as a human being.

SO - I wanna know - what was the last thing you did that fastened you to the present that you forgot your name, your bank balance, or your to do list. ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♂️ Inspired by @shona_vertue’s post about her talk last night.

Can I just draw your attention to the detail on this @fawapparel top though? I am absolutely obsessed with it, wore it to yoga this morning and not like I have much, but it is super supportive and so convenient just grabbing a top, and not a sports bra and top, and having to make sure they match and go together when you run out the door.
