Cozy Holiday Loungewear

By the time you’re reading this post, I’ll be done with finals and about to head home for Christmas. Last Christmas was extremely difficult for me to spend the holidays without Matt, so I’m so excited that we’ll be spending Christmas with my family in Charlottesville together this year. On the 26th, we’ll be driving to be with Matt’s family until New Year’s Eve. This is the first year we’re splitting up the holidays between our families, so it’s been interesting trying to figure out all the logistics. We’ll be spending a lot of time in the car, so comfy essentials and good podcasts are a must! If you are traveling this holiday season like me, keep reading because I’m rounding up some of my favorite travel-friendly loungewear. 

This long sleeve jumpsuit from Express is made of super-soft plush jersey fabric and is perfect for lounging around with family or long travel days. Express has always been one of those places that I can find dozens of items every season that I adore, but because I’m extremely petite, I never order the pieces because I’m not sure how they’ll fit and don’t want to deal with returns. I ordered 4 items from Express in December and honestly was pleasantly surprised with the fit of each item. (Follow along as I share each item on Instagram!) 

For sizing, I am 5’2” and this jumpsuit hit me right at my ankles. I’m wearing an XS and probably could have worn an XXS if it was offered. P.S. Did you know Express offers petite sizes in some of their items? Petite sizing wasn’t offered in this jumpsuit, but I hope they continue expanding sizing options!
