Well, it's been a while since (1) I wrote a piece and (2) since I had date nights. Corona put an end to my dating stories with almost no return as of yet. In the past year, I did not have almost any romantic dates, with the exception of date nights with my girlfriends. Yet, I find date night outfits very inspiring & exciting, as well as the ritual of getting ready - it is charming, shy, and exciting. And, because I hope to go back into the dating scene soon, I have decided to collect some Date Night Outfits inspo for myself, and therefore you, my reader. In this article, you will find color-blocking, romantic dresses, relaxed looks, and classy chic.
I am not a stylist or anything nearby, therefore these examples are purely my personal fashion inspiration. I don't even know if any of those are trends or even anti-trends.🤪 And, another disclaimer, I like simplicity and charming looks, I would never overdress for a date - it has to be cute yet comfy, for you to feel your best self. Let's start!
Color Blocking
Color-blocking, from what I heard, is one of the fashion trends this season as well. Even though I don't have that many colorful clothes, I find this technique outstanding, very inspiring, and beautiful. It shows personality, it sends a positive message, it looks unique. Pink & green, orange & baby blue, purple & yellow - very summery and unexpected. Here are some examples of what I loved:

Puff-Sleeved Dresses
These are also quite hyped this season. Yet, the silhouette has been here for a while and will remain with us for years. Ruffles, lace, puffed sleeves - all of these add a romantic touch to our looks. So, if you feel romantic, flirty, feminine, it's a go for a date night. Depending on the occasion, you can play with accessories: sandals or heels, a pleated bag or a clutch, salty waves or an elegant low bun. Such dresses or blouses are elegant, simple, yet very charming. What do you think?

Recently, I found massively beautiful puff-sleeved dresses at the Sleeper. Beautiful colors, unrealistic silhouettes, high quality. I've been following this brand for a while, and I adore them.
Classy Chic
This is probably one of my favorite styles: an oversized suit with some heels. Grab an upcycled oversized suit from Pijack.co, pair it with some comfy heeled sandals, a cute bag, make a low ponytail and you're ready to go. Such a look gives you a very powerful yet feminine feeling. I feel my best when I am wearing something like this and definitely recommend you this feeling. Besides powerful and feminine, I also find it very sexy, for the right men of course.

Tiny Dress & Oversized Jacket
This style is a bit similar to what we just discussed, yet a bit more feminine & sensual. It looks wonderful: a tiny dress (could be a slip dress as well😍) paired with an oversized jacket, blazer, or a coat. How do you like this one?

Relaxed Look
If you are going to a park or for a coffee-date, this style is brilliant. Again, I never overdress for dates. Why? First, because I almost never overdress. Second, I don't want to send a message of trying too hard. Therefore, a relaxed look is a perfect style for a very casual first (or not) date. Sweatshirts over a white shirt, high-waisted relaxed pants, some sandals or sneakers.🤍 Here's some inspo:

Oversized White Shirt
This is a classic. Do you own at least one oversized white shirt in your wardrobe? I have one from pijack.co and I wear it quite often. I pair it with jeans and relaxed pants, with a sweater on top or by itself, sandals, sneakers, and heals. Sometimes I can also wear a corset over it. It is a base, as it allows you to build a variety of styles and looks with it. Having that said, it is also a perfect piece for a date night. Here is some inspiration that I found:

That's it for now. I hope you enjoyed this piece. And, I am curious: what is your favorite style and/or what would you wear for a date night?
Love,
Juls
