Pretty in Pink - My All Time Favourite Shades of Pink Nail Polish

If you thought you can just the shade pink as a singular colour, you would be sadly mistaken! There are so many different shades of pink available, all of which represent different moods and occasions.  For me, you can’t beat a perfectly painted pink manicure, it’s the ultimate girly accessory! That being said, it’s also possible to look classy and mature while showing off a hint of pink. In this post, I’ll show you my all time favourite shades of pink; some old, some new. After all we all know that pink is an all time classic manicure!

    Hello Kitty OPI Collection

This OPI collection is filled with so many gorgeous shades of pink, so it’s well worth looking into if you’re after a pink manicure, but for the purpose of this post I have selected my favourite two shades from the collection. The first is named Super Cute in Pink and is a solid popping pink with a hint of a purple undertones. The second is called Let’s Be Friends and is the most baby pink shade you could ever possibly need, and I think works perfectly as an undercoat for a glitter nail polish. The Hello Kitty collection as a whole is utterly adorable and would work perfectly for occasions such as Valentine’s Day.

    Essie Dark Nude Shade

This is a nail polish I seem to reach for time and time again. It’s a very dark nude, autumnal shade and is perfect to wear throughout the Fall season. The polish also has a subtle gold shimmer to add that extra sparkle to your manicure. Unfortunately, I brought this polish a while ago and the shade name itself seems to have disappeared from the bottle, but I think I have found it online and it’s called 497 Clothing Optional Dark Clay Nude Nail Polish. With any Essie product, you can expect fantastic quality, so I would highly recommend that you check them out.

    Barry M Pink Punch

As a nail enthusiast, I can safely say that Barry M is one of my all time favourite brands for nail polish. Not only are they very affordable, but the selection of shades available is borderline overwhelming, and the quality of the polishes is first class! On my beloved wall hanging nail rack, the majority of polishes on display are Barry M, so much so that I need to shuffle them around constantly just so that they will all fit! The shade Pink Punch is your classic hot pink. I love to wear this in the Summer as the colour just screams sunny days to me. I especially love wearing this on my toes as it looks great with a pair of sandals. . Check it out below:

Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint | Pink Punch

The shade is also part of Barry M’s Gelly Hi Shine collection which means it leaves your manicure looking like a gel manicure. All products in this range promise a glossy shine finish and are all very opaque in consistency, meaning that you could easily get away with just one coat of the polish.

    Avon True Colour

This colour, named Wandering Rose, is just simply pretty! In the bottle it looks a lot darker than what it actually is. On your nails it’s a lovely pastel pink which I think is perfect for Spring. The colour has a frosted pink finish and I like to mix it up from time to time with a matt top coat. Again, this product is somewhat old and I couldn’t find the exact shade online, but Avon have so much choice of nail colours, all at a budget price so it’s worth checking their current collections out. In the meantime I’ll bombard their Twitter with requests to bring this shade back!

So there we have it, my rundown on my all time favourite pink nail polishes. Do you have any go to polish colours that you always reach for? Let me know in the comments.
